Exporting movies or animations

Postby Sabine on Tue Mar 02, 2010 7:00 pm

How can I export movies or animations from Knotplot ? (I don’t want to visualize them within Knotplot, but with an internet browser). I thought about saving lots of pictures with slightly changing parameters (using “animate” or “rotate”) and using them for a gif animation or something the like. I am trying to write a script file (*.kps), but I need to know the correct syntax for loops (for to) and if there is a way to convert integers to strings (for the changing file names). Is there any other way to save animations?

I used Blueberry's Flashback Express to capture an area of the screen. You can save movies as AVI or FLV. Best yet, BB Flashback is free. You can get it here http://www.bbsoftware.co.uk/BBFlashBack_FreePlayer.aspx
