Exporting movies or animations

How can I export movies or animations from Knotplot ? (I don’t want to visualize them within Knotplot, but with an internet browser). I thought about saving lots of pictures with slightly changing parameters (using “animate” or “rotate”) and using them for a gif animation or something the like. I am trying to write a script file (*.kps), but I need to know the correct syntax for loops (for to) and if there is a way to convert integers to strings (for the changing file names). Is there any other way to save animations?

I used Blueberry's Flashback Express to capture an area of the screen. You can save movies as AVI or FLV. Best yet, BB Flashback is free. You can get it here
