Drawing an arbitrary knot?

Is it possible to draw a planar diagram of an arbitrary knot?

Inputing either any code of the knot (dowker, gauss,...) or a list of edges and crossings.... any notation?

for example, draw the trefoil after performing a Reidemeister 1 move on one of the arcs?
